Bow and Wavin Fittings Carry The Lowest Lead Content Commercially Available

2023 AHR Expo, Atlanta, February 6, 2023 – Wavin, a global water technology providing safe, healthy, and secure water, is offering a full portfolio of CPVC pipe solutions for completely integrated hydronic system solutions, including:

Bow SuperPex

Bow SuperPex is ultra-resistant to chlorine, thanks to its patented and exclusive chlorine-resistant technology (CRT) and design. It offers the highest protection against UV rays prior to installation and surpasses industry standards for chlorine resistance, especially in the most demanding situations like hot water domestic continuous recirculation. Bow SuperPex is used in hot and cold potable water distribution systems for industrial, high-rise, and multi-family residential facilities. It can also be used as a water service pipe buried underground outside of a building.

It is made in 3/8", ½", ¾", and 1" nominal sizes and is available in coils and in straight lengths. The tubing is made to Copper Tube Size (CTS) outside dimensions and a Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR) of 9. BOW SuperPEX tubing can also be used as a water service pipe buried underground outside of a building.

Bow FlowGuard Gold CPVC

Bow FlowGuard Gold CPVC Is a high-temperature pressure piping system for potable plumbing and is used extensively all over the world. Bow FlowGuard Gold CPVC’s plumbing piping distribution system is designed for hot and cold-water pressure applications, for residential and commercial buildings. Manufactured with high durability and impact resistance, Bow FlowGuard Gold is naturally resistant to chlorine and installs quickly, saving money on every job.

Bow ABS DWV

Bow ABS DWV Foam Core (Coextruded ABS Cellular Core) pipe is used for plumbing drain, waste, and vent applications. The pipe is available in 1 - 1/4 inch to 6-inch nominal diameter. Various lengths are available in 10 and 20 feet for the United States and 12 feet for Canada.

Wavin Schedule 40 PVC pipe

Wavin Schedule 40 PVC pipe, frequently used in water supply systems for human consumption, is specially designed for the conduction of water at room temperature under pressure in domestic and industrial use.

“We offer a complete package of hot and cold water systems so specifiers can mix and match the materials in the design to achieve simplified installation and desired outcomes,“ said Courtney Fretz Obregon, Wavin North America general manager. “All Wavin and Bow pipe fitting systems have the highest quality of brass with the lowest lead content that is commercially available, far exceeding current US lead-free requirements.”
