Wavin North America Launches New AIA Continuing Education Course: "Circular Water Design with Nature-Based Solutions"

Waltham MA – October 23, 2023 - Orbia’s Building and Infrastructure business Wavin, a global water technology leader, announces a new AIA and USGBC continuing education course.

"Circular Water Design with Nature-Based Solutions" explores five pivotal urban climate challenges that can be resolved using a circular approach to capture, store, and reuse water.

Participants will learn how to employ a water balance analysis to plan for nature-based solutions that close the water loop and foster equitable communities.

"Water is too often seen as a problem. Our new course challenges us to see water differently,” said Michelle Lange, Wavin North America marketing director “We can treat water as a resource and stop losing it because we lack smart circular solutions."

More than 280 attendees took the course at Greenbuild last month, rating it an average of 4.5 out of 5.

"Circular Water Design with Nature-Based Solutions" earns 1 AIA Learning Unit with a focus on Health, Safety, and Welfare (LU/HSW) and is also eligible for a U.S. Green Building Council Continuing Education credit.

The new program will be available this fall through a series of in-person and online lunch-and-learns and via a learning management system to launch in 2024.
